The Spaniard competed at the Le Mans 24 Hour Race 8 times for works teams Peugeot and Audi.

Marc won le Mans for Peugeot in 2009 partnering David Brabham and Alexander Wurz.. Marc was on the podium in 2008 for Peugeot finishing 2nd. Two more podiums followed at the great race finishing third with Audi in 2013 and second again for Audi in 2014.

Jota Sport ran the LMP2 Zytek Z11SN Nissan to a magnificent class win and fifth overall at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2014 and an overall 2nd place in class in the 2014 European Le Mans Series. Marc Gene, Simon Dolan and Harry Tincknell finished second in LMP2 class at the 6 hours of Spa. Marc Gene was on loan to Jota Sport from Audi Sport, and had to be recalled for the 24 Hour race in 2014.
